I'm not sure whether this is our collective imagination, but I did enjoy sampling Du Rhone Chocolatier's product offering. Du Rhone masterfully mixes contrasting sweet, bitter, and sour flavors, as well as smooth and crunchy textures. All different textures and flavors take turns to surprise your palate and also to remind you of the warm and sweet feeling that fine chocolate should elicit. Chocolate has always been an eclectic and luscious treat, so I guess it just suits Valentine's Day perfectly. Happy Valentine's Day to all the gourmands with good appetite.
